Monica W.
I was born in Morristown, NJ and raised in Milford, PA; one of 5 children. I attended Notre Dame Jr/Sr High School in East Stroudsburg before starting college at the Hazleton Campus of Penn State University. After two years in Hazleton, I transferred to the Main Campus and graduated with a BS in Animal Bioscience. I have been working in Customer Service for over 30 years as well as Human Resources for 5 of those years. I have been working in the Insurance Industry for 10 years and have earned several designations including CLTC (Certified in Long Term Care) and APP (Annuity Planning Professional).
I have lived in Sugarloaf, PA for the past 20 years. My daughter, Kendall, just turned 16 and is very active with the Unified Track Team, Girl Scouts and volunteers as a teacher for our Church. I am the co-founder and co-leader for Girl Scout Troop 32935 in Hazleton, which was started in 2017. I am an active member at St. John Bosco Church in Conyngham. I am a member of the Adult Choir and have worked in the Faith Formation Office for the last 3 years. I enjoy reading and crocheting in my spare time and in the summer my family and I spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, biking, swimming and camping. I also enjoy watching movies and looking for geocaches.
